Resurrection Sunday Greetings to All!

We hope you are as excited as we are to commemorate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead!

This was the final seal of victory that God the Father planned from the beginning of the world. Based on this victory, the human race is now able to join Father God’s family (John 1:12), so that we can experience the richness of His friendship and all the benefits of His kingdom while we are on this earth (Matthew 6:10).

This is something that comes up over and over again as we read the Bible. Derek Prince, in his Atonement book teaches about the 9 exchanges made by Jesus Christ’s perfect work of redemption completed on the cross of Calvary (Ephesians 1:7-8; Galatians 3:13-14). These are so great to think about, we list them here:

1) Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven. 2) He was wounded that we might be healed. 3) He was made sin with our sinfulness that we might be made righteous with His righteousness. 4) He died our death that we might share His life. 5) He was made a curse that we might receive the blessing. 6) He endured our poverty that we might share His abundance. 7) He bore our shame that we might share His glory. 8) He endured our rejection that we might enjoy His acceptance. 9) Our old man died in Jesus that the new man might live in us.

Prince summarizes the exchanges, “All the evil due, by justice, to come to us came on Jesus, so that all the good due to Jesus, earned by His sinless obedience, might be made available to us.” He continues, “You will never be able to find any reason you deserved His exchange. It is the outworking of God’s sovereign grace. It is the expression of His measureless love.”

Isn’t this exciting? Doesn’t it just make one want to read the Bible and find the nuggets of truth that God has for us in His love letter to us?

We hope you are as encouraged and lifted in learning more about God’s great love for us, as we are! Also, The 700 Club at www.cbn.com has been a great source of encouragement for us. Please check it out!

Finally, we are doing a lot of praying and planning for this web site. Please pray that the Lord will enable us to do a great job in spreading His love around the world with the goal of helping more people find the Father and belonging in His kingdom. We know that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!

To God be the glory! Blessings to you all!
